You know, I’ve been seeing a lot of you putting your heart and soul out there on video. It takes courage, confidence, and guts to put yourself out there! I salute you for being brave enough to share your vision.
But, we need to talk. Some of us are missing out on huge opportunities because we are not marketing our videos effectively. We just put them up, and…crickets. It’s heartbreaking to work hard and then no one watches.

You may remember my B-School Scholarship video, where I Dance-Bombed my way into Marie’s heart. You may not know that this year I have been doing comic recaps of the TV show ‘Scandal’. Well, my ‘Scandal’ videos have changed my life. I’ve been in Entertainment Weekly, Cosmo, and in a national commercial thanks to them. I’m a YouTube Partner, now. I’m also followed on Twitter by Hollywood producers, A-List celebs, and fans from all over the world. So, yeah, I’ve learned A LOT!
I am in the process of rebranding. I never considered starting a business based on what I do well naturally: making engaging videos. DUH. DOUBLE DUH. I’m going to focus solely on video marketing going forward. I’m no tech geek, but this year I have learned a ton about how to effectively market my videos. I KNOW I can help you market your videos better.
So many of us B-Schoolers make GREAT videos, but we make simple mistakes that cost us views, lose us sales, and leave us frustrated.
This week, I want to help you. For $47, I will review a video for you, and give you a simple action plan to help you moving forward. Now, I’m an artist and I’m super-sensitive (shhhh, don’t ruin my badass reputation!) so, I will be gentle.
Here’s how I can help you:
Titles (Uggghhh, the changes with Google are killing your views because your titles are wrong. Yeah, they were perfect a year ago when all the video gurus were saying one thing, but TRUST ME, it’s changed.)
Tagging (Are you using the right tags and related tags to improve organic searches for your video?)
Description (Are you writing your descriptions correctly and using simple SEO tricks?)
Location (Where are you putting your video in YouTube?)
Are you sharing it? Are you asking others to share?
The video itself. I will look to make sure if you are using KEY words, calls to action, possible distractions, expert positioning, and is it in line with your branding. I will also check for those critical soft skills areas… these are proprietary right now so I can’t list them here, but if you purchase the review YOU will get a cheat sheet on how to incorporate them in EVERY video with ease.
Video does not have to be hard or a pain in your butt. It’s a great way for you to establish yourself as a thought leader, expert, or brand leader. But, it’s hard to do that when you don’t know what you’re doing wrong.
